Start of the Sea A.C. presents the 29th running of our Annual Cross Country Meeting at Greenanstown, Stamullen, Co. Meath on Sunday 24th September - flyer here. As usual, the programme starts at 11am with the U9 girls race with the rest of the races following in sequence. The junior ladies and masters ladies 3k race will start at 1.00pm and will be followed by the last race of the day the junior, senior & masters men’s race. Programme details here.

Juvenile athletes just pay their admission fee at the gate and then go to the line as their race is called.

Junior, senior, master and Fit4Life athletes have to register to race which can be done at the entrance gate.  There is also the facility to  pre-register for the junior, senior, master and Fit4Life races by following this link: https://goo.gl/forms/iEu8gy84RpGkqLZA2

You then collect your number on payment at the gate and save all the hassle of filling out forms on the day.

 Complimentary tea and coffee will be on the brew from early morning.

Entrance Fee:  juvenile €3 and adults €5

 Registration for Junior, Senior, Master & Fit4Life athletes costs €15 which includes admission fee.

Directions: The venue will be signposted from Stamullen village and also from the Duleek to Julianstown road (from Cooperhill Cross).

St. Brigid’s Athletic Club is hosting the Geraldine Dolan Memorial Cross Country Meet on Tuesday the 3rd of October 2017, at our club grounds adjacent to the St Brigid’s GFC pitch. There will be cross country signs put up to help with directions – so please look out for them.

We intend commencing the first race at 11.00 am, with the final race set to be completed by 12.30 pm. There are races for minor girls and boys up to senior girls and boys. We will look to have all individual and team presentations completed by 1.30 pm, including the Geraldine Dolan Perpetual Cup to the best overall school.

The age groups are broken down as follows:

Minor – Under 14 on the 1st of July in the year of competition – i.e. 2017.
Junior - Under 15 on the 1st of July in the year of competition – i.e. 2017.
Intermediate - Under 17 on the 1st of July in the year of competition – i.e. 2017.
Senior - Under 19 on the 1st of July in the year of competition – i.e. 2017.

I have attached a letter of invitation for all secondary schools, along with an order of events.

Athletes must run in their own age group except in a team event where ONE athlete from the age group immediately below may complete a team. No athlete may run in more than one race.

Prizes to be presented to the first 3 individuals & first 3 teams in each race, while individual & team points will be allocated with the best overall school receiving the Geraldine Dolan Perpetual Cup.

Entry Fee €2.00 per athlete.
