Juvenile u/12, u/14, u/16, u/18 Club and County teams The top 4 placed teams at the Leinster Even Ages Championships in girls and boys u/12, 14, 16 and 18 qualify for the National Finals.
Club and County Secretaries shall enter teams directly to National using this link. (Leinster Entries to National - Comp 79)
Only the top 4 juvenile teams qualify. National will check the entries and any team entered that has not qualified through Leinster will not be allowed to participate as a team and the cost of entry will be forfeited and not returned by National. It is the responsibility of Club and County Secretaries to ensure that only teams that have qualified through Leinster are entered for the National Championships.
Athletics Leinster will enter the top 12 placed individuals at the Leinster Even Ages Championships on Leinster teams to compete at the National Championships.

Here's wishing a warm welcome to over 1,500 athletes that will be competing on the day and we hope everyone enjotys the competition.
The Leinster Senior and Juvenile Uneven Ages Cross Country Championships, kindly hosted by Ferbane AC, will take place in Ferbane, Co. Offaly on Saturday 9th November 2019 with a 12noon start.
Open u/9 races
Ferbane AC is hosting Open non-Championship 800m u/9 races as follows:
Girls race at 11:40am
Boys race at 11:50am
There will be no need to register for the u/9 races – simply show up on the line and pay €1 entry fee. This is an Open non-Championship event with no Club or County aspect.
The Championship races will commence at 12noon with the Girls u/11 1,500m race and be followed by the rest of the races on the programme at the following APPROXIMATE TIMES:
- Boys u/11 1,500m – 12:15pm
- Girls u/13 2,500m – 12:25pm
- Boys u/13 2,500m – 12:40pm
- Girls u/15 3,500m – 12:55pm
- Boys u/15 3,500m – 1:15pm
- Girls u/17 4,000m – 1:35pm
- Boys u/17 5,000m – 1:55pm
- Girls u/19 4,000m – 2:20pm
- Boys u/19 6,000m – 2:40pm
- Senior Ladies 5,000m – 3:05pm
- Senior Men 10,000m – 3:30pm
Entrance fee for spectators
The entry fee for spectators on the day is €5 per adult. Please have the money ready on your approach to the venue to ensure that there are no delays with car parking and subsequently with registration and warm up of athletes.
Registration/ Number Collection
On the day of competition, numbers shall be collected at the registration desk a minimum of 1 hour before each race by a Club/County representative and not individually by athletes. The Club/County representative will sign for all the numbers and provide a contact number for other Club/County athletes seeking their races numbers. Club officials are required to register to help before they will be allowed to collect numbers. Registration will close at 2pm.
Medals will be presented on the day. Please nominate a Club official to collect medals on behalf of your Club.
A map of the course (subject to minor changes) will be in the booklet available on the day of competition and the final map posted online before the event.
The Championships cannot go on without the support of Clubs and County boards. Thank you to everyone who comes together in the weeks leading up to and on the day to make this a success. Special thanks to Ferbane AC for hosting this year’s event.

Leinster Cross Country 2019
Hope you had a lovely Summer and a break after the busy outdoor season - it is now time to get back to training for the upcoming Cross Country Season as we prepare for our Championships.
Day 2 - Saturday 26th October, 2019 Even Ages, Junior and Novice Cross Country Championships will be held in Gowran, Co Kilkenny and hosted by Gowran AC.
Day 3 - Saturday 9th November, 2019 Uneven Ages and Senior Cross Country Championships will be held in Ferbane and hosted by Ferbane AC.
Many thanks to both Gowran AC and Ferbane AC for hosting the Championships and we look forward to 2 great days of competition.
