Leinster Academy Dates Announced for 21/22
30th October 2021, 13th Nov 2021, 4th December 2021, 15th January 2022
All dates will follow the same format:
Development Academy – 10:30 to 12:30
Performance Academy – 13:00 to 15:00
Location: Morton Stadium, Santry, Dublin 9.

Athletics Leinster is pleased to confirm that St. Senan’s AC has agreed to host the Novice, Junior and Juvenile Even Ages Cross Country Championships on Saturday 23rd October, starting at 11.30am, and entries are now open at Entry Portal. St. Senan's AC will hold open races for girls and boys under 10 years of age before the Championship races.
The Championships will be held at a new venue – Mountain View, Kiltorcan, Ballyhale, Co. Kilkenny R95 NH31.
Thanks to the Wicklow County Board, the Leinster Senior and Uneven Ages Cross Country Championships will be held at Avondale House & Forest Park, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow A67 P303, starting at 11.30am, on Sunday 7th November.

Information for parents/coaches for Leinster U12 and U13 and U16-19 3000m
A detailed timetable will issue closer to the day. Start lists for the heats will also be published in
advance (Friday Evening). This will make assembly on the day more straightforward for the officials.

Covid form must be completed for everyone attending on the day and can only be done on the
morning of competition.
Masks must be worn at the entry point and wherever you cannot observe social distancing.
There is one entry point and one exit point into and out of the venue. An admission fee of €5 per
adult. Remember it is ONE ADULT per athlete. Please adhere to this to allow the competition to flow.
Only Cash payments will be taken on the day for Gate Entry so please have exact change available.
There is only one viewing area available (Down the back straight). Parents should bring their athlete
to the warm up area and wait until the event is called to go to the viewing area. Once your event is
completed, please leave the venue by the exit route. Finalists must also leave and may re-enter in
good time for their final.
The U12 girls and U12 boys Long Jump & Turbo Javelin events will take place at the Carlow IT itself.
This is a 2-minute drive (10-minute walk) from the track. You must collect your number at the track.
Coach information
One coach per club is allowed to assist the athletes with warmups. The coach may be substituted by
another coach if required. The name(s) of the coach should be forwarded to us in advance.
Unfortunately, no coaches are allowed onto the track so the athletes will have to find their own
mark in the Long Jump. There is no trackside viewing to the long jump at the track.
JF Sports will be on site for sports apparel and runners/spikes.
